About

Healthcare is both deeply human and increasingly complex. My work is dedicated to helping patients, professionals, and organizations navigate that complexity through better questions, stronger connections, and meaningful solutions.

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), healthcare leader, educator, and healthcare strategist, I bring experience spanning clinical practice, healthcare quality, analytics, leadership, education, and patient advocacy. From providing anesthesia care to leading quality improvement initiatives, developing educational programs, analyzing healthcare data, and speaking on healthcare innovation, I have built a career at the intersection of people and systems.

I believe meaningful improvement happens when we connect both the human and analytical sides of healthcare. Strong relationships, thoughtful leadership, data-driven decision making, and continuous learning are all essential to improving outcomes for patients, providers, and organizations.

Today, I provide clinical anesthesia services, healthcare consulting, professional education, speaking engagements, and advisory services focused on advancing healthcare quality, patient experience, leadership development, and system improvement.

Better Questions. Better Connections. Better Healthcare.

From Provider to Patient

As a survivor of a catastrophic uterine rupture and 15-liter hemorrhage requiring 53 units of blood products, Dr. Gype brings a rare perspective to healthcare leadership. Her experience as both a clinician and critically ill patient informs her work in patient experience, quality improvement, and compassionate systems design.
